1983 – Elected Vice President and General Counsel of Kohler Co.
1984 – Instrumental in the acquisition of Sterling Faucet, the first of many Kohler Co. acquisitions.
1984 – Took on responsibility for KOHLER’s Corporate Communications department, which included print, web and television advertising. Through the years, led KOHLER brand to industry-leading levels of unaided brand awareness, share of web visits and social media metrics in all categories.
1984 – Launched KOHLER on a streak of most memorable exhibits for 36 consecutive years at the International Builders Show, and 15 consecutive years as best exhibit at the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS).
1985 – Oversaw the opening of the Kohler Design Center, which has continued to be the hometown face of the brand for its products, ideas and history.
1986 – Played a key role in the Jacob Delafon acquisition, Kohler Co.’s first international acquisition.
1986 – Gained responsibility for Kohler Interiors Group with the acquisition of Baker Knapp & Tubbs.
1987 – Named to Kohler Co.’s Board of Directors, where she provided dedicated leadership, counsel and loyalty for 35 years.
1988 – Debuted KOHLER’s iconic “As I See It” advertising campaign.
1995 – Helped launch KOHLER into China with the Foshan Kohler Ltd. China Joint Venture.
1997 – Established Kohler Co.’s online presence with the company’s first website, reaching an even larger consumer group.
1998 – Orchestrated a stock recapitalization that was vital to Kohler Co.’s ability to stay independent, forward-thinking, and privately held.
1998 – Named to Kohler Foundation, Inc. Board of Directors.
2000 – Helped KOHLER brand surpass American Standard and Toto to become the leader in the premium plumbing market in China.
2001 – KOHLER became #1 plumbing brand in China as measured by sales.
2004 – Key to the acquisition of Old Course Hotel, St. Andrews, Scotland.
2007 – Named Kohler Foundation, Inc. Board President.
2012 – Led the way for the concept, development and construction of The Beacon, which brought Kohler Co. Communications together under a physical headquarters.
2012 – Received Marquette University Alumna of the Year Award.
2019 – Inducted into the Wisconsin Advertising Hall of Fame.
